Before I begin the Bio on her, I feel the need to explain the Magnaton....
I have always seen Magnaton as something purely mechanical and less... Lifelike as the show portrays. I have always pictured it made from multiple plates of metal put together, and their eyes either a grid sonar like portrayed, or pixilated eyes. I chose the sonar for this because the pixilated eyes just looked too dull.


Kaaryn Goldsun

A trainer of Poke'mon that not only have High Offensive stand points, but massive Defensive stand points. Often refereed to by those back home, as "the Tank", Kaaryn makes sure each of her poke'mon have moves that can turn the table in battles and ones that seriously midigate overwhelming odds.

Kaaryn was born and raised a few miles outside of Goldenrod City, on small farm where her mother bread and raised dog and horse like pokemon. The majority of her family were experienced Pokemon Breeders, extending from her mother, to her grandmother who breeds more dog like pokemon, her uncle who breeds fighting type, to her cousin who breeds Shroomish.

She and her brother were both entranced by pokemon from the moment they first saw them. Her brother was 1 year older than she was.

While her parrents were breeders they were not very well to do breeders, making barely more than enough to get by, and they were not experienced trainers. When it came time for her Kaaryn's brother to have his first pokemon, her parents bought 2 pokemon they could afford, and they placed the balls out for the son to chose. It turned out he chose the one containing a Zubat, which left the last ball for Kaaryn. When she came of age she got the ball. For a long time she was made fun of for the pokemon inside, but she loved and cherished it besides the jeering... A Magicarp.

Due to the... Lack of ability to do much in a battle, she fell behind her brother when it came to training. He came accross a Marril and a Sandshrew and even his Zubat evilved into Golbat as the years went by, while Kaaryn stayed with only the Magicarp. She refused help from her brother and insisted on training her beloved splash-tacular fish on her own, without any help. Much toil went into training the seemingly useless, clueless, fat little fish, but to no avail, yet she still loved it.

Now Kaaryn can swim, but not very well... At the age of 16, her brother now 17, she and her family took a trip to Cerulean City. Her brother insisted on taking her to the nearby abandoned Power Plant in search of one of his favorite Pokemon, a Magnamite. While traversing the dangerous road along the fast moving river, letting her Magicarp swim along size, she slipped and fell into the fast moving waters. Neither her brother nor her little fishy could get to her fast enough and she was swept under and down river. Her loved Magicarp swam as fast as she could and as hard as possible but could not gain on her. It was then that the once useless fish, evolved into the fierce, feared, and respected Gyarados. Now evolved and mighty, Tiamat managed to catch up to Kaaryn and pull her from the water.

Tiamat brought her glory in many a battle and was her cherished friend.
When their vacation was finished, her brother took her through the Rock Tunnel on the way back home. Her brother's Golbat seemed agitated from the moment they entered and flew off on his own in the dark, returning several hours later with a abnormally small, fuzzy, strangely colored, badly injured Zubat. She took this poor little guy and cared for him. After recovered she took care of it and it became quite attached to Tiamat. The Zubat was picked on for being small and different, and Tiamat protected it from harm. Tiamat sympathized with the poor thing.
Years passed and the Zubat now named Cornelious, grew and grew. He eventually evolved into a Golbat. A few more years passed, her Brother now off on his own will a full team of fully Evolved pokemon, Kaaryn finally turned 18 and began her own journey.


Traveling the World and battling her way through thick and thin, her Golbat eventually evolved further into a Crobat, and the 3 were as true a family as any. She caught and rescued many more pokemon, and happened to accumulate a few the exact same as her brother, and loved them as the first 2. She continues her journey to finally exceed her brother, whom she was never able to beat before, and to find the rare and sought after Beldum in order to start her own Pokemon Breeding Farm, for the rare steel and psycic types.

She was even able to make a friend that has just tagged along as a pet!

While she keeps an upbeat attitude around everyone, she has a darker, mysterious, sad side when alone. So much so, that it scares... TERRIFIES even her own pokemon... Often caught staring into the distance with a doll like stare, when she is like this it is very hard to get her attention... It's like she is focused deeply on something no one else can see....




Normally a fun loving, goofy, goober of a girl with a big hear that she wears on her sleeve, when it comes to battles she has learned that going easy and being sweet... Just... Doesn't... Cut It.
When in a battle she is Vicious and Unyielding. She has no mercy and shows no quarter.
When battling it is like she is a different person.
She sees the goal and takes it, and her Pokemon share the same dedication.

Outside a battle she is probably the sweetest person you will meet. She is shy around cute guys but otherwise very outgoing.
Despite her plushy/curvy body, she is a decent dancer ranging from Ballet to Street dancing. She is also a talented artist, always having a sketchbook and pencils in her bag.

*her balls are a custom color combination, black and orange, and are in the side pouch of her bag or on wrist bands she sometimes wears (3 on each wrist), and she always has 1 out beside her and Scraps, rotating who it is evenly among a day*

Energetic and cuddly. He is rather fluffy and slightly smaller than most Crobat, making him a little faster and harder to catch.
Has a strong attachment to Tiamat.

Rescued as a Sandshrew from a shelter that wanted to put it down for being too violent. Always picking fights and being quite Vicious. Kaaryn talked the staff into letting her keep him and train him to not be so violent.
While still VERY short tempered and vicious, he does love Kaaryn and get along (somewhat) with the others.
Just don't say the wrong thing or chances are you won't walk away without needing stitches....
His ruthlessness makes him hard to beat, coupled with the Quick Claw that he holds, he is very quick.

Curious and powerful. Has trouble understanding things from anyone other than Kaaryn. Always looking over shoulders to see what's going on, Omega often gets into trouble on accident.

A gentle giant. When not in a battle he is always trying to be careful and mind his size, doing his best not to hurt anything.

A very old, very disciplined, and very wise, very LARGE Hariyama.
He TOWERS over other Hariyama. While most stand about 7 feet and weigh close to 600lbs, Ralph stands at nearly 11ft and weighs as much as a Snorlax, at 1100lbs. To put it in perspective, Kaaryn can sit crosslegged in the palm of his hand... His life in the mountains nourished his massive growth and strength, as well has his overall skill. His size, while making him strong as about as movable as a brick building, make him slow... VERY slow...
He was owned by a martial arts master in the mountains since he hatched from an egg. His master taught him everything he knows, including how to speak... Somewhat.
Ralph can say a few human words, like his name, YES, NO, UP, DOWN and a select few other simple things.
He is so intensely trained, and can focus so well in a battle, that even though he is MASSIVE and slow, he can time snatching a Crobat out of the air mid dive...Perfectly...

His master was sought by many a trainer for his knowledge and skill in Fighting Type training, and would only train those he deemed worthy. Many years passed and Ralph's master passed away, leaving behind his knowledge in a book at his old shack on the mountainside. Ralph stayed on the mountain, at his master's grave for many more years to come, letting only those whom he deemed worthy have access to the book and it's secrets.
Trainers came, and went, never proving worthy to Ralph... Until Kaaryn came along. She was no match for the master fighting type poke'mon, and thus failed, but with grace. She impresses Ralph. When she made her way down the mountain, Ralph followed, book in possession. She took it but has never opened it, saying only "I am not worthy of this gift... yet"
Ralph continued to follow Kaaryn dispite her worries and concerns. Eventually they became good friends and he is now a powerful member of her team, and family.

He is fond of Scraps and attempts to teach him the ways of a master fighting type.




PET
Scraps
A goofy Scraggy that has followed Kaaryn for a while. She kind of adopted him as a pet but never uses him to battle. He LOVES Kaaryn and Ralph is his idol.

FRIENDS

Gale -- fav.me/d5ixosf -- a friendly battle between the two left kaaryn admiring  Gale's abilities and she really wants to face her again in the future.

 Binjovi  -- fav.me/d5ibhan -- Kaaryn met Bin' in round 3 of this year's event. She couldn't help but cling to him in fear and is thoroughly embarrassed by her actions during the round and is afraid to confront him again, yet she REEAALLLYYYYY wants to apologize for knocking him and his pokemon out while in a fit of selfish rage.

Orrin -- fav.me/d5n5pz7 --  Admittedly Karryn found him quite attractive and soon accumulated a crush on him after their 1st meeting, when Scraps needed some medical attention, and then after a second meeting during the Tea party, and even further to him checking on ralph for her... She did not win his heart but she did earn his, somewhat awkward, friendship and she is happy to still have that.

Sydney -- fav.me/d5er6hc -- Kaaryn found Sydney a bit brash at 1st, and didn't much like her. She lost Orrin's heart to her aswell..... She still doesn't know her too well, but for the sake of her friend Orrin, she is being nice and wants to know Sydney a bit better.

These 3 make up Kaaryn's close circle of friends. Each one has each others backs and they goof off like they were family!

She teases John and flirts with him for some weird reason, she can't really help it, and she adors Remi and admires her greatly. As for Aidan, she loves being the "big sister" type and picking on him, but only in all fun and games
